Aquavitro Activate is a concentrated source of phosphorus designed specifically for planted aquariums. Phosphorus is one of the three essential macronutrients (along with nitrogen and potassium) required by aquatic plants for healthy growth. Activate provides phosphorus in a safe and readily bioavailable form, helping prevent deficiencies that can lead to stunted growth or poor coloration.

🧪 Usage Instructions

Initial Setup

  1. Shake well before use.
  2. For new or freshly planted aquariums, dose 2 mL per 160 L (40 US gallons) to raise phosphate by 0.05 mg/L (PO₄).
  3. Use in combination with Aquavitro Propel (nitrogen) and Aquavitro Synthesis (potassium) for a complete macronutrient base.

Maintenance Dosing

  • Regularly test phosphate levels to maintain concentrations between 0.05–1.0 mg/L depending on plant density and light/CO₂ levels.
  • Dose as needed based on plant uptake and test results. A common routine dose is 2 mL per 160 L every 2–3 days in high-demand systems.
  • Adjust dosing frequency in response to growth patterns, algae presence, and nutrient balance.

Q: Can I use Activate without CO₂ injection?

Yes, but it is most effective when used in tanks with moderate to high light and CO₂ supplementation, where phosphorus demand is higher.

Q: Will Activate cause algae growth?

Not when used properly. Phosphate does not cause algae, but imbalances or excess nutrients combined with poor plant growth may contribute.

Returns Policy
