   • Wet the Pad:Wet the DuoPad with aquarium water to activate the melamine foam and scrubbing surfaces.

2. Application:

   • Melamine Foam Side:Use the white melamine foam side to gently scrub algae from the glass or acrylic surfaces of your aquarium. This side is effective for removing algae from smooth surfaces without scratching.
   • Scrubbing Side:Use the blue scrubbing side for tougher algae and debris on rough surfaces like rocks, driftwood, and other decorations. This side is designed to handle more abrasive cleaning tasks.

3. Cleaning Technique:

   • Gentle Pressure:Apply gentle pressure while scrubbing to avoid damaging the aquarium surfaces. Move the pad in a circular or back-and-forth motion to effectively remove algae.
   • Rinse Frequently:Rinse the DuoPad frequently in aquarium water to remove loosened algae and debris, ensuring it remains effective throughout the cleaning process.

Maintenance:

1. Regular Cleaning:

   • Frequency:Clean your aquarium surfaces with the DuoPad as needed, typically once a week or whenever you notice algae buildup.
   • Rinse After Use:After each use, rinse the DuoPad thoroughly with clean water to remove any remaining algae and debris. Allow it to air dry completely before storing.

2. Storage:

   • Dry Storage:Store the DuoPad in a dry, clean place to prevent mold and mildew growth. Avoid storing it in a damp environment.

3. Replacement:

   • Monitor Wear:Over time, the melamine foam and scrubbing surfaces may wear down. Replace the DuoPad when it becomes less effective at cleaning or shows signs of significant wear.

4. Avoid Contaminants:

   • No Chemicals:Do not use soaps, detergents, or other chemicals with the DuoPad, as these can harm your aquarium inhabitants. The pad is designed to clean effectively without the need for additional cleaning agents.

   Yes, the DuoPad is safe for use on both glass and acrylic surfaces.

2. How often should I replace the DuoPad?
   Replace the DuoPad when it shows signs of wear or reduced effectiveness.

3. Does the DuoPad require any special cleaning agents?
   No, the DuoPad is designed to be used without any soaps or detergents.

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
