Initial Setup:

1. Preparation:

   • Shake Well: Before using Seachem Flourish Potassium, shake the bottle well to ensure the ingredients are evenly mixed.

2. Calculate Dosage:

   • Determine Volume: Calculate the volume of water in your aquarium. The standard dosage is 1 capful (5 mL) for every 125 liters (30 US gallons) of water.

3. Application:

   • Add to Aquarium: Pour the calculated dose of Seachem Flourish Potassium directly into the aquarium. For smaller doses, note that each cap thread is approximately 1 mL.
   • Frequency: Use 1 capful (5 mL) for every 125 liters (30 US gallons) of water. This dose raises potassium by 2 mg/L. Repeat 2-3 times per week or as needed in response to signs of potassium deficiency.

4. Initial Dosing:

   • New Tank Setup: Add Seachem Flourish Potassium to the aquarium when setting up a new tank to provide an immediate source of potassium for plants.

Maintenance:

1. Regular Dosing:

   • Frequency: Continue to dose Seachem Flourish Potassium 2-3 times per week to maintain optimal potassium levels for your plants.
   • Mixing: Shake the bottle well before each use to ensure even distribution of nutrients.

2. Water Changes:

   • Routine Maintenance: Perform regular water changes to maintain water quality. During water changes, continue to dose Seachem Flourish Potassium to replenish any potassium lost.
   • Dosage: Use the standard dosage of 1 capful (5 mL) for every 125 liters (30 US gallons) of water.

3. Monitoring:

   • Test Potassium Levels: Regularly test your aquarium water for potassium concentrations using a reliable test kit. This helps ensure that the potassium levels remain within the optimal range for plant growth.
   • Adjustments: If potassium levels are too low, increase the dosage of Seachem Flourish Potassium. If potassium levels are too high, reduce the dosage accordingly.

4. Signs of Potassium Deficiency:

   • Chlorosis: Look for yellowing of tissue between veins, particularly in older leaves.
   • Necrosis: Observe for browning or death of leaf tissue.
   • Weak Stems and Roots: Check for weak or brittle stems and roots, which can indicate a lack of potassium.

5. Storage:

   • Keep Seachem Flourish Potassium in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Ensure the cap is tightly closed to prevent contamination.

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
