Initial Setup

1. Shake Well:

   • Before using Seachem Pristine, make sure to shake the bottle well to ensure the ingredients are properly mixed.

2. Turn Off UV/Ozone:

   • Turn off any UV sterilizers or ozone generators before adding Pristine to the aquarium.

3. Dosing:

   • Initial Dose:
     • Use 1 capful (5 mL) of Pristine for every 40 liters (10 US gallons) of aquarium water.
   • Maintenance Dose:
     • Use 1 capful (5 mL) per 80 liters (20 US gallons) with additions of livestock or after disruptions to the biofilter through cleaning or medications.

4. Add to Aquarium:

   • Add the appropriate dose directly to the aquarium water.

5. Allow Bacteria to Establish:

   • Allow 2 to 3 days for the bacteria to become established before turning UV sterilizers or ozone generators back on.

Maintenance

1. Regular Dosing:

   • Continue to use the maintenance dose of 1 capful (5 mL) per 80 liters (20 US gallons) with additions of livestock or after cleaning the biofilter.

2. Monitor Water Quality:

   • Regularly test water parameters to ensure optimal conditions. Pristine helps maintain low levels of ammonia, nitrates, and nitrites.

3. Address High Nutrient Levels:

   • Recurring problems with high nutrients can indicate overstocking, overfeeding, or inadequate filtration. Adjust feeding and stocking levels as necessary.

4. Store Properly:

   • Keep Seachem Pristine in a cool, dry place.
   • Ensure the bottle is tightly closed after each use to maintain its effectiveness.

1. How is Pristine different from Seachem Stability?
   Pristine uses different strains of bacteria that target larger proteins and organic waste, while Stability focuses on establishing nitrifying bacteria.

2. Can Pristine be used with invertebrates?
   Yes, Pristine is safe for use with invertebrates.

3. How often should I use Pristine?
   Use as needed for maintenance, typically with additions of livestock or after cleaning the biofilter.

   100ml, 250ml & 500ml

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
