Initial Setup

1. Rinse Thoroughly: Rinse Reef Reactor Md™ under running water to remove any dust or debris.
2. Placement in Reactor: Place the rinsed media in your calcium reactor.
3. Adjust Flow and CO2: Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for your calcium reactor to adjust the water flow and CO2 injection rates. This will control the rate of media dissolution and ensure the desired concentrations of calcium and alkalinity in the effluent.

Maintenance

1. Monitor Levels: Regularly test the alkalinity, calcium, and magnesium levels in your aquarium using appropriate test kits.
2. Adjust as Needed: Adjust the flow rate and CO2 injection based on test results to maintain optimal levels.
3. Replace Media: Replace the media as it dissolves and depletes over time to ensure continuous nutrient supply.

The media should be replaced as it dissolves and depletes over time. Regular monitoring of calcium and alkalinity levels will help determine when replacement is necessary.

2. Can I use Reef Reactor Md in both marine and freshwater aquariums? 
Reef Reactor Md is specifically designed for use in marine reef aquariums to support coral growth and health.

3. What is the ideal pH range for the calcium reactor using Reef Reactor Md? 
The ideal pH range inside the calcium reactor is typically between 6.5 and 6.8 to ensure optimal dissolution of the media.

4. How do I know if the media is exhausted? 
The media is considered exhausted when it has significantly dissolved and the levels of calcium and alkalinity in the effluent begin to drop despite maintaining the same flow and CO2 rates.

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations.
