🧪 Usage Instructions

Initial Setup:

1. Dosage: Use 6 grams (approximately one level teaspoon) of Malawi/Victoria Buffer for every 40 to 80 liters (10 to 20 US gallons) of aquarium water.
2. Application: Dissolve the measured buffer in freshwater before adding it to the aquarium to ensure even distribution.
3. Adjustment: Add the buffer daily until the desired pH level (7.8–8.4) is achieved and stabilized.
4. Optimal Results: For best results, use in conjunction with Seachem’s Cichlid Lake Salt and Cichlid Trace to replicate the natural environment of Lake Malawi and Lake Victoria.

Maintenance Dosing:

• Frequency: After achieving the desired pH, use Malawi/Victoria Buffer as needed to maintain pH levels, typically no more than once every two to three weeks.
• Water Changes: During regular water changes, add the appropriate amount of buffer to the new water to maintain consistent pH levels.
• Monitoring: Regularly test the aquarium water to ensure pH remains within the desired range, adjusting the buffer dosage if necessary.

A: No, Malawi/Victoria Buffer is formulated specifically for freshwater aquariums housing African cichlids and is not suitable for marine environments.
