🧪 Usage Instructions

Initial Setup:

1. Test Water Parameters:
• Before dosing, test your aquarium's calcium and alkalinity levels using reliable test kits.
• Ideal calcium range: 380–420 mg/L.
• Ideal alkalinity range: 3–6 meq/L (8–17 dKH).
2. Shake Well:
• Shake the Reef Fusion 1 bottle thoroughly before use to ensure even distribution of elements.
3. Dosage:
• Add 1 mL of Reef Fusion 1 per 25 liters (6.5 US gallons) of aquarium water.
• Dose into a high-flow area of the tank to aid in distribution.
4. Wait Before Adding Reef Fusion 2:
• Wait a few minutes after adding Reef Fusion 1 before dosing Reef Fusion 2.
• Do not mix Reef Fusion 1 and Reef Fusion 2 directly.

Maintenance Dosing:

• Frequency:
• Dose the aquarium every 1–2 days to maintain stable calcium levels.
• Adjust dosing frequency based on the consumption rates of your specific aquarium inhabitants.
• Monitoring:
• Regularly test calcium and alkalinity levels to ensure they remain within the optimal range.
• Adjust dosages accordingly to maintain desired levels.
• Maximum Dosage:
• Do not exceed a dose of 4 mL per 25 liters (6.5 US gallons) per day.

Q: Can I use Reef Fusion 1 without Reef Fusion 2?
A: While Reef Fusion 1 can be used alone to target calcium levels, it is designed to work best in conjunction with Reef Fusion 2 to maintain both calcium and alkalinity.

A: Dose every 1–2 days, adjusting as needed to maintain calcium levels between 380–420 mg/L.

Q: Will Reef Fusion 1 affect my aquarium’s pH?
A: No, Reef Fusion 1 is formulated to maintain calcium levels without significantly affecting pH.

Q: Can I automate dosing of Reef Fusion 1?
A: Yes, Reef Fusion 1 can be added to dosing reservoirs and delivered by dosing pumps. Ensure separate containers and lines for Part 1 and Part 2, and program your pump to dose each part several hours apart to avoid chemical interaction.

Q: Is it safe to use Reef Fusion 1 with other Seachem products?
A: Yes, it's safe to use Reef Fusion 1 alongside other Seachem products recommended for reef systems. However, avoid suddenly and dramatically increasing calcium levels, as this can stress aquarium inhabitants.

You may return most new, unopened items within 7 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).

You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
